We are an ecommerce solutions provider and have an immediate opening for a Magento Developer. We are a young entrepreneurial company that has established itself as a leader in our market segment for providing exclusive web services.

The ideal candidate is an individual who is interested in a compelling career in web development. While no professional programming experience is required, you will be expected to know Magento and basic amounts of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Knowledge of JavaServer pages, and JavaScript libraries like jQuery is a plus. This position is perfect for a recent college graduate. Manages multiple projects with timely deadlines.

Communicates continually with the client and management; explains progress on the development effort.

Reviews and implements changes to tools and modules based on the needs of the client.

SKILLS

Excellent understanding of Magento's code structure and extension architecture.

Able to hand-code quality and clean HTML.

Proficiency with JavaScript and familiarity with the prevalent JS libraries.

Knowledge of JSP, JAVA, J2EE is required.

Proficiency with image editing tools such as the Adobe Suite a plus.

Experience developing dynamic and data-driven sites preferred.

Must be interpersonal and able to work well independently as well within a team environment.

We prefer someone with 3 to 5 years prior experience in retail ecommerce or enterprise level web development.
